Case Study: A Californian Road Trip for top Italian Influencer Family
One of Visit California’s main pillars is family, so it was important to find influencers that perfectly represented these values in the Italian market. That’s why our team chose LikeMiljian for the 360° cooperation, making them Visit California Italy Local Ambassadors for 2019/2020. We chose this specific travel family because of their sunny, outgoing and positive approach not only to travel but also in general to life, which is the main reason why they were successful in building a strong social community around them.
The first step of the project was organizing a tailor-made itinerary across The Golden State to help them discover the destination and show it to their followers through their IG page and Facebook page. We agreed on coverage of 1 post per day on Facebook and Instagram, Instagram stories and one TripAdvisor pack (3 posts + 1 video + 1 Travel Guide).
The itinerary was created together with the client and influencer. In particular, we wanted to help them experience the iconic California Highway 101 road trip, the epic Pacific Coast highway. The family started in San Francisco and the Napa Valley before going south along the Central Coast stopping in Monterey, San Louis Obispo and Santa Barbara. When they finally arrived in Los Angeles, they were able to explore Joshua Tree National Park in the desert east of the City of Angels.
In total, more than 16 IG posts were created, as well as numerous Stories, Facebook posts and TripAdvisor materials. You can follow the Miljian Family on Instagram or Facebook.
